The Barcode Advisory Service was formed over 10 years ago in response to the number of people looking for advice on barcoding issues and not knowing where to start.

Today BCAS is run from offices in Oxfordshire by founder member Jenny Hicks. Sponsorship for the service is provided by Axicon Auto ID Ltd, www.axicon.com, who manufacture barcode equipment and provide barcode bureau services.
